Our client European Institute Of Innovation and Technology (EIT) looks for a new colleague as
Communication Assistant for 10 months (with possibility of extension) Salary: from 3.000 - 4.400 EUR gross (all salary payments are converted into HUF) Place of work: Budapest Purpose: Provide support in the fields indicated under ?Tasks? and provide daily support as Communication Assistant Tasks: Assist in the preparation of briefing materials, news items, press release, messages, newsletters, social media posts and respond to information requests. Regularly update the EIT website, EIT social media channels and contribute to their continuous development. Ensure daily press monitoring and archiving of press articles, interviews and media monitoring or relevant information. Provide administrative and logistical assistance to the communications section, including on financial processes, events, press, communications, publications and translations. Create visual concepts and materials for website content, presentations, publications, newsletters, events and other communication assets. Support the overall planning and organisation of EIT meetings and events. Professional experience: Ability to demonstrate experience of above tasks through different professional experience or trainings Min. 1 year of professional experience in communications, marketing, journalism including professional traineeships, internships, and/or volunteering A minimum of 6 months? professional experience of above tasks in an English setting Qualification: Completed university degree - Bachelor Advantageous: Completed university degree - Masters level Degree in EU studies, politics, communications, marketing, philosophy, arts, history, languages Experience in working for an EU institution An additional language Video editing and design skills in Adobe and/or Canva Experience in media monitoring tools and dissemination (Kantar Media, Carma, Agility, Cision) Experience working in a multicultural environment Language skills: Excellent command of the English language (at least C1 Level based on the Common Framework of Reference Languages) IT Skills: Computer literacy and in particular excellent use of MS Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
